Hystoriq Portraits is the trading name used by Giacomo Guerrini, a sole trader based in Ireland. The business creates personalized historical-style portraits using customer-provided photos.
This website provides official business and customer information. It does not process orders or payments directly. Purchases are currently processed through Etsy. Etsy listing details, checkout information, order updates, and platform policies may also apply.
Each portrait is personalized according to the Etsy listing selected by the customer and the photos and details supplied after purchase. Portraits specialize in transforming faces and hairstyles based on a selected historical-style template. Other custom requests should be discussed through Etsy messages before purchase so their feasibility can be confirmed.
A preview is not provided before purchase. Draft options are sent after purchase so the customer can choose the preferred direction before the portrait is finalized. The applicable timing and any included revisions are described in the relevant Etsy listing.
Photos should be sent through Etsy messages after purchase, rather than by email. Customers should provide the photos within 48 hours of purchase so the order can proceed. If photos are not received within that time, the order may be cancelled.
For the best result, photos should be front-facing, well-lit, and show a neutral expression. If possible, provide two or three photos per person. Customers are responsible for ensuring that they have permission to share and use any photos they provide, including permission from other people shown in those photos.
Customers choose a portrait option through Etsy, complete the Etsy checkout process, and provide photos and relevant details through Etsy messages using the instructions in the listing. Draft options are then supplied for review before the final portrait is prepared. Order-specific questions and updates should be handled through Etsy messages where possible so the conversation remains connected to the order.

Physical products do not include a high-resolution digital file unless the relevant Etsy listing expressly says otherwise.
Processing times and delivery arrangements may differ by listing and product format. The relevant Etsy listing and Etsy order information should always be checked for the details that apply to a purchase.
Delivery times are estimates rather than guarantees and may be affected by the destination, courier, or circumstances outside the seller's control.
Portraits and custom orders are made to the customer's specifications or are clearly personalized. For that reason, the standard change-of-mind right to withdraw may not apply to these products. Returns or exchanges are not offered for buyer's remorse or an incorrect size selection for products fulfilled by the production partner.
Please contact Hystoriq Portraits through Etsy messages or at info@hystoriqportraits.com before returning any product. This does not affect statutory consumer rights for faulty, damaged, or non-conforming goods.
For digital files supplied to consumers in the EU, the right of withdrawal may be lost once delivery of the digital content has begun with the customer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right is thereby lost, in line with applicable consumer law. Where a purchase is made through Etsy, this consent is handled within the Etsy purchase flow.
If a physical item is misprinted, damaged, defective, or does not conform to the order, please make contact promptly through Etsy messages or at info@hystoriqportraits.com with the relevant order details and supporting photos. For efficient handling through the production partner, these reports should be submitted within 30 days after the product is received.
For a package lost in transit, please report the issue no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. If a courier returns a shipment because the address supplied was insufficient or the shipment was unclaimed, the customer may be responsible for reshipment costs after an updated address is confirmed.
The production partner's return information is available on the Printful return policy page. The reporting periods above help with production-partner claims. They do not exclude or reduce any statutory consumer rights that apply under Irish or other mandatory consumer law.
Printed products such as posters, framed posters, and canvases are intended for decorative purposes. Where mounting or installation is required, customers should follow the product instructions, install the item securely, and keep it out of the reach of children where appropriate.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. This does not remove any mandatory consumer rights or protections that apply to a customer under applicable law.
